President Uhuru Kenyatta,DP Ruto,Raila Odinga,Ali Hassan Joho mourn the passing of MP Suleiman Dori
Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori is dead. He died this morning March 9 at Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa after spending a week in the Intensive Care Unit(ICU).
The MP succumbed to Cancer the ODM party revealed.
Several top leaders among them President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto , Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho have mourned the passing of MP Suleiman Dori.
The President through State House Kenya shared that “President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the family, friends and the people of Msambweni Constituency following the death of MP Suleiman Ramadhani Dori. In his message of comfort, the President described the fallen legislator as an astute politician who served his constituents with utmost commitment.”

President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence and comfort to the family, friends and relatives of Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori who passed away this morning at a Mombasa hospital.
In his message, the President described the late MP as an astute leader who served his constituents with utmost commitment.
“We have lost a young, committed and brave leader who carried a lot of hope and who was a friend to many,” the President eulogised.
He said the youthful second term MP had distinguished himself as a dependable steward and defender of public interest.
The Head of State prayed to God to give the family and relatives of the late leader the strength to bear the pain of losing a loved one.
Raila Odinga wrote as seen by Newszaleo.co.ke ,” My heartfelt condolences go out to the people of Msambweni and family of Ramadhani Suleiman Dori who has passed on this morning. May the Lord grant his family comfort at this difficult moment and may his soul Rest In Eternal Peace.”
Deputy President William Ruto joined too in mourning the MP .
DP Ruto wrote that “
Mheshimiwa Suleiman Dori was a progressive figure who tirelessly championed for the empowerment of the people of Msambweni; he was hardworking, focussed, fearless, with an inextinguishable love for everyone.
Ambitious, ingenious and committed to public service, Mheshimiwa Dori was indomitable, a moral enthusiast whose leadership advocated for equal justice. We will miss his firmness, wise counsel and vigour to improve the lives of the people the Coastal region.
Our prayers to the Dori family, friends and the people of Msambweni. Rest In Peace.”
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho also mourned the Msambweni MP.
The governor wrote that”
It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we mourn the passing on of a great friend and brother Hon. Suleiman Dori the Member of Parliament for Msambweni Constituency. His life will forever remain a lesson of courage and true dedication to community service.
On behalf of the people of Mombasa, my family and my own behalf I send my most sincere condolences to the family of Hon. Dori and the people of Msambweni for the loss.
May the Almighty assuage our grief. We have lost a true son of the nation and an ardent defender of the people of Msambweni and coast region at large.

The Msambweni MP Hon Ramadhan Suleiman Dori who passed away at the Aga Khan Hospital Mombasa is set to be buried today (Monday 9th March 2020) at 4pm at his home village of Gasi, in Msambweni constituency, Kwale County. May God Rest his soul in Peace.
