Kenya’s only female white giraffe and her calf have been killed by poachers at Ishaqbini Hirola Conservancy, Garissa County according to the Conservancy Manager Mohammed Ahmednoor.

The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has issued a statement on the same as seen by Newszaleo.co.ke

We are investigating reports of the deaths of a white Girrafe and a calf in Ishaqbini Conservancy in Garissa County.
Our teams on the ground have seen bones believed to be those of the two giraffes. The bones are estimated to be four months old.
