Fuel prices 15th February to 14th March 2021 in Kenya

EPRA Kenya calculated the maximum wholesale and retail prices of petroleum products, which will be in force from 15th February 2021 to 14th March 2021.

Taking into account the weighted average cost of imported refined petroleum products, the changes in the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices in Nairobi are as follows: Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene increases by Kshs.8.19, Kshs.5.51 and Kshs 5.32 per litre respectively.

Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will now retail at Kshs.115.18, Kshs.101.91 and Kshs.92.44 per litre respectively in Nairobi.

The prices are inclusive of the 8% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2018, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.
